NewStyle Hybrid Shutters

NewStyle Hybrid Shutters combine the great style of wood with the strength, stability and straightness of advanced modern-day materials. High quality features, such as Truemill dovetail construction, Crosslink construction (resists warping and bowing), and a low-lustre Finetech coating ensure easy cleaning, lasting beauty and reliable performance. NewStyle Hybrid Shutters offer the modern elegance of quality shutters at an economical price point.

The shutters are offered with 2 ½”, 3 ½” or 4 ½” elliptical louvers – the UltraGrain is a grain-like finish that mimics the look of genuine wood. Rectangular Shutters are available in standard hinged panels, bi-fold track configurations and by-pass track configurations. Special applications include French doors, bay/corner windows, café shutters, double-hung shutters, bypass open louver track configurations and bypass triple track configurations.

NewStyle Hybrid Shutters - Features

Hybrid Material—NewStyle shutters are made from a wood composite material co-extruded with a polypropylene coating for a quality product that’s built to last.
Finetech® Finish—Our proprietary Finetech low-luster finish replicates the warmth and character of solid wood on all NewStyle Hybrid Shutter colors.
UltraGrain™—A grain-like finish mimics the beautiful look of genuine wood.
Quality Construction—Truemill® dovetail construction is a master woodworking technique. This structurally sound method holds panels together by interlocking the components.
Specialty Shapes—NewStyle shutters are available in a wide range of specialty shapes, including arches, angles, circles and more.

Design Options

Arch top and angle top panels allow coverage of shaped openings and a wide range of framed and unframed specialty shapes are available as stand-alone shutters or combined with standard hinged panels below in one continuous opening. The specialty shapes feature operable louvers arranged as a sunburst around a hub. Select shapes are available with horizontal louvers.

Control System

NewStyle Hybrid Shutters feature easy operation with the Hidden Staytite tension system, the operating systems include – Traditional front tilt, TruView rear tilt, up-only closure, up/down closure.

NewStyle Hybrid Shutters have achieved Green Guard Gold Certification.
