Custom Roman Shades

Traditional Roman Shades provide a soft elegant look to any window – Design Studio™ Roman Shades can truly be customized with four different styles, 300 different fabrics, and tapes and trims to choose from. The four Roman Shade styles are Batten Front, Batten Back, Flat or Hobbled.

The innovative cording system reduces access to the rear cords for enhanced child safety. Designer Studio™ fabrics are woven in widths that allow shades to be made up to 96” wide without being interrupted by seams. The exclusive collection is made up from artfully curated fabrics – sophisticated textures, patterns, stripes, rich solids and sheers. You can reflect your personal style by adding coordinating valances, tapes and trims, making your windows truly unique. The fabrics, tapes and trims are also available by the yard – perfect for bedding, pillows and coordinating accessories.

Custom Roman Shades - Features

Exquisite Fabrics—Featuring luxe basics, lofty textures, alluring jacquards and luminous sheers. Performance fabrics, that is, ones designed specifically for durability, stain resistance and UV stability, are also available.
Light Control—An attached white liner provides light control and energy-saving insulation, and is available in your choice of two opacities, light filtering or room darkening.
Flat Valance—The simple, clean lines of an optional valance add style to a wide array of Hunter Douglas window treatments. Available heights include 8", 12" and 16".

Custom Roman Shades - Design Options

Design options include de-Light (hides route holes to block unwanted light), a selection of solid and patterned Decorative Tapes, and the ability to cover unique windows with fixed slat Specialty Shapes.

Control System

There is a choice of control systems for Design Studio™ Roman Shades – Cordlock, EasyRise® or UltraGlide®. And, of course, the state-of-the-art PowerView® battery-powered system offers convenience with the touch of a button.
