Wood Blinds - Features

The slats are made from Basswood and Abachi wood which are sourced by Hunter Douglas from responsible partners.
The presence of distinguished markings, distinctive grain patterns and natural colour variations are part of the unique features of the blinds – these variations are normal and natural.
A decorative valance is standard for all styles – six styles of beautiful wood cornices are available as an option.

Design Options

Design options include de-Light (hides route holes to block unwanted light), a selection of solid and patterned Decorative Tapes, and the ability to cover unique windows with fixed slat Specialty Shapes.

Control System

SpringRise® anchors the bottom rail of the blind to the bottom of the sil in the window. When the shade needs to be lifted, the blind is released from the hold down brackets and the blind automatically lifts to the top of the window. A wand is used to tilt the louvers open and closed. There are no in between positions for the blinds with this system; the blind is either all the way up or down.
